Welcome
to Sand Creek Outfitters official website. If you are
looking to hunt some of the biggest Mule deer, Whitetail,
or Pronghorn antelope around
in some of the most challenging hunts, then you are undoubtedly at the
right place. Every hunt we do is 100% fair chase and every animal we hunt
is 150% wild. Most of your time with us will be spent hunting spot and
stalk style on the wide open plains. While we do offer some stand hunting,
the best chance for you to harvest your trophy will be to stalk it and
trying to get within your comfortable shooting range.
The area you will
be hunting will be the great open plains of Southeast Colorado. We offer
approximately 150,000 acres of land to hunt in seven different hunting units.
One morning you may find yourself sneaking through waist high
CRP grass, and
that same afternoon going from sage brush to sage brush trying to stay under
the radar of the game you are chasing. You will encounter some light to moderate
hill climbing, but for the most part it will be relatively flat and wide open.
As you can imagine, this makes it a little tougher to get within range of any
animal. But don’t worry, we are on your side. We have spent a combined
total of over 30 years hunting this very area. Yeah, we know the area, we know
where the subtle breaks in the land are, where the grass is thickest and the
tallest, and we will use everyone of those advantages to get you within shooting
range for your trophy.
If you have any questions, or if you are ready to book your hunt, do not hesitate
to give Tim or Kevin a call. We will talk you through the online license
application, giving you the information you need to maximize the chances of drawing
a tag.We will have access to a limited number of landowner vouchers which will not
require you applying for a license, however these will be given out on a first
come, first served basis. We strongly recommend that you apply for a license
yourself, and in the event you do not draw, give us a call and we will try to
set you up with one of these vouchers. Don’t forget to click on the Colorado
Division of Wildlife link at the bottom of this page and check out the rules
and regulations. We look forward to hearing from you, and happy hunting! |
